We are jewelry designers-my friend Jeannette O'Brien, my cousin Sue Collier and myself. Catherine Vrchota Najmajstr, the great-grandmother of Sue and I, was born in Bohemia and came to the US as a young girl. She was a very talented lady who is loved and talked about to this day in South Dakota, where she homesteaded with her husband. We like to think she dreamed of this day where we can share the bit of talent we inherited from her with a large audience.
Check out our store's website!
We also have an actual website for our store. That way those of you who are not members of etsy can buy our jewelry.

Art Bead Scene Monthly Challenge
I have been following and enjoying the Art Bead Scene blog. An art bead is a bead made by hand. Some of the beads on this necklace were made by local artists. I made the necklace based on the theme of the monthly Art Bead Scene challenge. Follow the link here to see what the challenge is all about.

This necklace is a bit different from my usual style, but was fun to make. Plus my 23 year old son Dave thinks it is cool, so that is the highest praise I can get as far as I am concerned.
