In early May cousin Sue Collier and I spent some healing time in South Dakota together. I made this necklace (lapis-lazuli, glass and copper) while there. I will never sell or give this one away. It is a keepsake of a special time. Less than two weeks after we left South Dakota Sue's daughter Jessica died in a car accident. The relative innocence of the South Dakota trip was shattered in an instant
We are jewelry designers-my friend Jeannette O'Brien, my cousin Sue Collier and myself. Catherine Vrchota Najmajstr, the great-grandmother of Sue and I, was born in Bohemia and came to the US as a young girl. She was a very talented lady who is loved and talked about to this day in South Dakota, where she homesteaded with her husband. We like to think she dreamed of this day where we can share the bit of talent we inherited from her with a large audience.
Check out our store's website!
We also have an actual website for our store. That way those of you who are not members of etsy can buy our jewelry.
