Jeannette and I went on a zip line yesterday! It was my first time and her second. We went on the twin lines at Boyne Highlands, so that means we were able to go at the same time. Boyne Highlands are the longest and highest zip lines in Michigan. We each did it twice and did it upside down the second time.
We are jewelry designers-my friend Jeannette O'Brien, my cousin Sue Collier and myself. Catherine Vrchota Najmajstr, the great-grandmother of Sue and I, was born in Bohemia and came to the US as a young girl. She was a very talented lady who is loved and talked about to this day in South Dakota, where she homesteaded with her husband. We like to think she dreamed of this day where we can share the bit of talent we inherited from her with a large audience.
Check out our store's website!
We also have an actual website for our store. That way those of you who are not members of etsy can buy our jewelry.

That looks like so much fun! I think we'll have to do that when we're up there for the 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteThe zipline looks like a blast. I love the old photo of your grandma as a little girl with her family, too. What a treasure to have that photo. (And what cool dresses they are wearing!)
