Sue and I before a hot air balloon ride we took with Chris
Anyways, on the first night she was here I showed her my beads. She was very excited and I offered to show her how to make jewelry. She started creating pieces that are awesome! She definitely has some of Catherine in her. We made several visits to Nawbin, the local bead store and took a class on jewelry making one night. On her way out of Traverse City just by chance she sold a necklace to someone at the airport. I will be selling her jewelry in our etsy and online store. It was wonderful sharing this with Sue, along with everything else! We had a wonderful visit. I don't have any sisters and she is like a sister to me.
Some of Sue's creations from this past week:
The green one above is the piece she sold
This green lampwork necklace (above) is the one she made that first night
And she even made Petoskey Stone jewelry- this looks beautiful on her, my photo does not do it justice:
And lastly, here are the earrings she made in the jewelry class:
Thanks Sue for visiting and for sharing in my passion. Great-grandmother Catherine is smiling on us now! Love you, Cuz!
