This month the challenge inspiration is a picture of the Crysler building in New York City. Here is the picture and the color palate:
I have beads I love made by Lisa Raymo, a local artist that came to my mind right away. I combined them with some metal beads that I thought were the perfect shape to bring out the the ridges in the building. I added metal rings to mimic the rings in the picture. All the metalic look of the picture made me decide to use a chain to attatch to them and intertwined with a black ribbon that brings to mind the black windows in the rings of the building.
Once again I had a fun time pushing those creative limits! I look forward to the challenge each month.

And here is my sumission for this month:
We are jewelry designers-my friend Jeannette O'Brien, my cousin Sue Collier and myself. Catherine Vrchota Najmajstr, the great-grandmother of Sue and I, was born in Bohemia and came to the US as a young girl. She was a very talented lady who is loved and talked about to this day in South Dakota, where she homesteaded with her husband. We like to think she dreamed of this day where we can share the bit of talent we inherited from her with a large audience.

I love the look of your piece. It's very artistic and at the same time, something I would absolutely love to wear! The shiny silver, turquoise, black and white--along with the geometric patterns-- fit the challenge well! I really love this piece!
